How much does an ad cost?

B2B Brokers is currently in a beta test period. There is no cost for any of its memberships at this time. After the beta test, the cost will be $49.95 for a two-month period to post a "business for sale" advertisement, and $299.95 per year for a "franchise opportunity" or "business broker" listing.

Why is there a two month minimum for "business for sale" advertisements?

Selling a business usually takes months. For maximum advertising and cost effectiveness, the amount of time a listing should be displayed is two months. Negotiations can also be a time consuming process. It is therefore advisable to maintain your advertisement until a business sale is actually consummated.

How long does the "free" beta period last?

The beta period will be reviewed on a month-to-month basis. The review will examine several criteria including feedback from customers, user satisfaction, traffic, features to be added, services in need of enhancement, etc. These criteria are then rated. Once we are confident that our rating score and launch goals have been attained, the beta test period will be terminated.

How will my listing appear in your B2B Broker search results?

Upon joining, you will be asked to provide up to 20 keywords that relate to your business such as products, services, features, location etc. When a viewer enters a query term, our technology will match your keywords to the query term entered. This will allow us to serve relevant and pinpointed results. Our technology displays the ads in an order deemed most relevant to the term, location and criteria entered by the user.

How do I renew an ad when the term is completed?

For your convenience, we offer an auto renew option. If you would like to renew, simply log in and set your option to auto-renew. Upon expiration of the term purchased, our system will automatically charge your credit card on file the current and applicable fees for your advertisement. You can select or de-select the auto renew feature at any time.

Upon a successful charge, the advertisement will be extended two months with regard to a "business for sale" advertisement and one year for "franchise opportunities" and "business broker" listings.

It is your responsibility to make sure the credit card on file is current in order to maintain the listing of your advertisement.

How is the length of time an ad is displayed calculated?

When your ad is approved it will remain in our directory for 61 days with regard to a "business for sale" (two-month) advertisement and 365 days for franchise opportunities and business broker listings. There is no time deducted when your ad is awaiting approval. There is also no time deducted for ads awaiting re-approval if you subsequently edit, modify and resubmit an advertisement.

How can I edit and change the details of my ad? How often can I do this?

Simply log in and select "modify/edit". You can do this as often as you wish. Please note that when an advertisement is approved and listed, but subsequently modified and resubmitted, it is temporarily removed from the database until re-approval. It will therefore not appear in the B2B Brokers search results or directory listings during this time. There is no time deducted or incurred when your ad is awaiting re-approval.

How will buyers contact me?

You will receive an email containing the buyer responses via our automated Search, Select and SendTM e-mail system. You will be able to view all the information needed to properly respond to the prospective buyers interest including name, address, email and telephone number.

How can I remain anonymous and protect my business identity?

When filling out the form to post your ad, you can reveal as much or as little information about your business as you wish. If you wish to keep your business identity confidential, we suggest that you do not disclose the exact location. Rather, you may mention near the name of a major town or city. We also suggest limiting their ability to view your name, telephone number or website.

When will my credit card be charged?

After the free beta period, you will incur a charge immediately upon joining. This process helps filter bogus and irrelevant ads thereby allowing our editors to more expeditiously review and approve the ads that are properly submitted.

I forgot my login password. How do I get it?

Simply use our automated forget password feature. It will send the proper log in information to the current e-mail address on file. If you need further assistance, please use our contact form.
